]]> As part of the project titled “We Are Together”, which is being implemented together by ASAN Volunteers and The Coca-Cola Foundation to help and educate the local population during the COVID-19 pandemic, 17,500 antiseptics distributed to communities, including volunteers. The disinfectants will be distributed to people on duty during the pandemic and placed in public places where citizens gather. Should note that the sprays made by ABAD members.

The handover and takeover process held with the participation of representatives of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ABAD public legal entity, ASAN Volunteers, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Mentioning of worship places among these places posed questions on the possibility of opening the places of worship in upcoming days.

Speaking in this regard to BAKU.NEWS, Head of Press Service of the Cabinet of Ministers Ibrahim Mammadov noted methodical instructions are considered for both opened and unopened places: "Everything depends on the situation, level of infection cases. There is not an issue of opening places of worship in the current stage. Generally, organization of mass gatherings in closed places is not on agenda yet."

]]> The fire at the wood materials market in the Narimanov district of Baku has been extinguished, the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies told BAKU.NEWS.

A result of the fire of wood materials folded under a canopy of metal structures on an area of 280 sq.m. burned materials on a plot of 75 sq.m., as well as a guard booth of 5 sq.m

The Emergencies Ministry press service told BAKU.NEWS that firefighters managed to save the rest of the wood materials from fire. The fire was extinguished by fire brigades.

The people arrived from abroad account for 5.4 percent of the infected persons.

]]> The system entitled as “Rules are the same for everybody” has been created on www.koronavirusinfo.az website in the framework of the measures of fight against novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told BAKU.NEWS.

The purpose of this project is to strengthen public control over compliance with rules in the fields and areas of activity subjected to special sanitary regime during the period of pandemic. 

The citizens can send the information about rules violations detected in the areas of trade of food products, functioning of public catering enterprises, tourism and hospitality industry, public transport, state agencies engaged in reception of citizens, various trade, service areas and offices, as well as in other areas via WhatsApp number (+99451 206 55 72) given on the relevant portal. The information should also be complemented with the photographs confirming the rule violation. 

Thereby, the citizens by informing timely the relevant agencies during the period of the quarantine regime, will have provided public support to prevention of countrywide spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. 

The information about rule violations upon condition of preservation of anonymity of the person providing the information will be disseminated via the portal as well as the mass media outlets, and thereby, the triggering of the public reproach will be ensured. Besides, the people who committed rule violation may be brought to administrative or criminal responsibility in accordance with the legislation.
